Rockbridge United Fall 2024 Tryouts

Tryouts for RUSC’s select teams for the 2024-25 soccer year will be held at Jordan’s Point Field.

***Update – All tryouts have been postponed to Sunday 5/19.***

Tryouts are for players born in the years 2006 through 2016. (NOTE: Tryout age groups do not equate to team age groups.)

• 1:00-2:00pm: birth years 2016-2015 (U9-U10)
• 2:30-3:30pm: birth years 2014-2011 (U11-14)
• 4:00-5:00pm: birth years 2010-2006 (U15-19)

Tryouts are free and open to any interested players of the appropriate age.  Selections are made based upon player ability and age.

To register:

• Create a family account (if you do not already have one), by clicking the LOGIN & REGISTER button at upper right
• Then create each your player(s) in your family
• Age-appropriate available programs will appear next to your player’s name in your Account Home
• Tick the box next to the desired program and click the register button

All spots on RUSC select teams are open each year and candidates must be evaluated each year to earn a spot in the program.  Tryouts consist primarily of different scrimmage games.  Candidates should come prepared to play soccer for the duration of the session.

The tryout will last 1 hour.  Please arrive 20 minutes early to check in and be prepared to start.  Candidates should wear soccer shoes and shin guards and bring a ball and water, dressed suitably for the weather.

Tryout results will be posted online by Friday, June 7.  Players who are accepted to the team will need to register the following week.
